Codd-Neck Bottle

Codd-Neck Bottles were invented by Hiram Codd in 1872 for the purpose of bottling carbonated drinks. These bottles enclose a marble and rubber gasket and were filled upside down. This bottle was purchased from England where the bottles were most popular. I was attracted to the details and patina.
